Bordering the western side of lake Michigan stands Chicago, a city that wears its heart on its sleeve, which is quite surprising given its age. In the summer the city breaths and moves, the lake brings storms above the bustling streets to set the pace of the people they home. In the winter the city slowly crawls as snowstorms and ice blow through the buildings that anchor Chicago to the lake. Despite what its sees Chicago has been around for almost 190 years, although that could be due to the years of industry and architecture. I believe it is because of the diversity and passion of people that walk its streets everyday, therein lies the true heart of Chicago, its just a matter of looking beyond the stone facades and winding rivers.
